Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine, meaning it is completely hands on. Osteopathy requires a 5 year course, including a two year Masters in Osteopathy. As a result, Osteopaths are primary care practitioners allowing them to refer directly for diagnostic scans such as x-rays and MRI’s. You don’t need a GP referral to see an Osteopath and the majority of health funds cover osteopathic treatments.

“No two treatments are the same. I enjoy working with the patient to provide the best care for their complaint”.

Osteopaths Treat:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Headaches
  • Muscle sprains
  • Ligament strains and tears
  • Injury rehabilitation
  • Arthritis

Osteopathic Pilates encompasses Osteopathic ideals of assessing and treating the whole body to get to the cause of the complaint, however, Angela has the ability to offer more than standard Osteopathic techniques in her treatment and patient care. It is often difficult to know where to start in searching for natural heath care. This is why Angela has developed a more complete package in Osteopathic Pilates to cater for each individual..
